Hey, I'm Sophie (these days.) I originally wrote this letter to send to family and friends as part of my journey towards coming out as transgender, but I've been encouraged to share it elsewhere as well. I don't know how often I'll update this blog in general, but this feels like a pretty good place to start. "Hey family and friends, So, many of you already know by now that I’m transgender. I guess I’m writing this to clarify just what that means in my case, so that you hopefully better understand where I’m coming from.
